What is a "Bump"?
Keep the same working weight while you build from three sets of 8 toward three sets of 12. When all three sets reach 12, Bump shows that your next weight increase is ready. Finish Workout saves the increase — typically +10 lb on heavy lower-body compounds, +5 lb on other compounds, or +2.5 lb on isolation work. That increase is the Bump.
Why hasn't my weight gone up yet?
You bump only after all three working sets hit 12 reps in one session. Finish Workout to save the final result. Flat stretches on your progress chart mean you are still building through the 8–12 range — that's the system working, not a plateau. Some dumbbell exercises need two consecutive 3×12 sessions because dumbbells only come in 5 lb jumps.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for. All data stays on your phone — see the privacy policy.
How do I move my data to a new phone?
Your data rides along with a standard iPhone-to-iPhone transfer or an iCloud/computer backup restore. Built-in sync/backup inside the app is planned for a future update. You can also export a CSV of your full log anytime in Settings.
Can I edit a past workout?
History is view-only in this version — it protects the progression math from accidental changes. While a workout is in progress, any checked-off set can still be tapped and edited.
Can I change my split without losing progress?
Yes. Your working weight and recent performance live on each exercise, not on the plan — switch splits in Settings anytime and every shared exercise picks up exactly where it left off.
Is Bump medical advice?
No. Bump provides general fitness information only. Talk to a physician before starting any exercise program, and stop any exercise that causes pain. The full disclaimer is in the app under Settings → Health disclaimer.
